Robinson FFA Alumni 

The Robinson FFA Alumni is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization of which none of the volunteer members receive any compensation for any services performed or donated.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ALUMNI?

The Alumni’s purpose is:

1.      To support and promote the FFA Organization, FFA activities, and agricultural education on
         local, State, and National levels.

2.      To provide a tie to the FFA and to assist FFA and agricultural education personnel to involve
         former members and others interested in supporting worthy activities.

3.      To promote greater knowledge of agricultural industry and support education in agriculture.

4.      To cooperate with the Robinson FFA Chapter and the Texas State and National FFA Alumni 
        Associations.

5.      To promote and maintain an appreciation of the American Free enterprise system.

6.      To promote the personal development aspect of the FFA.

HOW DOES THE ALUMNI FULFILL OUR PURPOSE?

The Alumni raises money to provide support for our local FFA Members and our local FFA Program. We provide this support by assisting underprivileged students with their project purchases, by assisting underprivileged students with their Show Entry Fees, by helping with student expenses while attending FFA State and FFA National Conventions and other FFA activities, by issuing Scholarships to graduating students, by purchasing equipment and supplies required by the Local FFA that will assist the students with their projects, and by providing adult personnel to assist the local FFA Program as required. Of course, all of these items are limited to the success of our fundraiser activities.

HOW DOES THE ALUMNI RAISE THE FUNDS NEEDED?

The Alumni conducts fundraising activities to assist the Robinson FFA members and the Local FFA Program to succeed.

Our current largest fundraising project is our Annual Robinson FFA Alumni Livestock Show. This is a fun-filled activity that every Alumni Member can be involved in. Not only does this show provide funds for our association, it also involves students from all over the Central Texas Area by allowing them to show and compete for prize money with their project animals that they have purchased and raised. This show would not continually be the success that it is without the continued loyal support of our many Sponsors. This Show has continued to grow each year.
